All students must submit a ten-panel drug screen with negative results in order to be considered for Full Enrollment at Axon Education.

Students are responsible for all costs associated with completing the required drug screen. Students may choose to complete their drug screen at any testing facility that meets Axon Education's requirements. The cost of the drug screen is an out-of-pocket expense and will not be paid or reimbursed by Axon Education.

Axon's ten-panel drug screen includes: Amphetamine, Benzodiazepine, Buprenorphine, Cannabis, Cocaine, Ecstasy, Methadone, Methamphetamine, Opiates, and Oxycodone, among other things.

If a positive test result is due to a legally prescribed medication, it is the student's responsibility to provide appropriate documentation verifying the prescription. In some cases, the student may be required to undergo an enhanced or confirmatory drug test at their own expense.

If a Presumptive Positive result is reported, the student or candidate for enrollment must contact the testing agency that performed the initial screening to obtain official clearance. The student is responsible for all costs associated with any follow-up or confirmatory testing and for securing a written explanation from a qualified Medical Review Officer (MRO) designated by the testing organization.

Failure to provide documentation or obtain official clearance for any positive or presumptive positive result may result in a delay in enrollment processing or Administrative Cancellation of the student's enrollment status.

As part of the admission process, all applicants are required to complete a drug screening. A positive drug screen is considered a critical admission criterion. Applicants who do not meet this criterion are not eligible for admission to the program. A student whose admission is rescinded due to a positive drug screen for cannabis, THC, or marijuana may reapply for admission after 60 days.

The program does not accept Medical Review Officer (MRO) verification or medical explanations for positive results involving cannabis, marijuana, or tetrahydrocannabinol (THC). A positive test result for cannabis or THC is a disqualifying finding and renders the applicant ineligible for admission.

For positive drug screening results involving substances other than cannabis/THC, the Program Director may review and consider MRO documentation or other relevant information when determining an applicant's eligibility for admission. Submission of MRO documentation does not guarantee admission.

The Program Director's determination regarding admission based on drug screening results is final.
